Vanishing lung – (plămîn care se topește). Formă particulară la emfizem (bule mari de emfizem care duc la insuficiență respiratorie).
Vanishing lung – progressive decrease of radiographic opacity of the lung caused by accelerated development of emphysema or rapid cystic destruction of the lung from infection.
